RealmWeave’s tools are made for TTRPG Game Masters, people who organize gaming sessions and create worlds and stories for their players. Coming up with all the details of a game world is time-consuming, taking hours or even days. This bottleneck affected the ability to quickly adapt and expand game environments in responsive and engaging ways.

Tech Titan Consulting was approached to streamline this process, utilizing AI to automate and enhance the creation of these game assets, giving gamers more time to play.

The Solution

Advanced AI-Powered Generators

We developed a suite of AI-powered tools that integrated seamlessly with RealmWeave’s platform, utilizing OpenAI’s API and custom algorithms:

  • Map Generator: Creates detailed maps based on descriptive inputs. Capable of generating varied landscapes and adding functional elements like gridlines for gameplay.
  • Character Generator: Automates the creation of detailed NPCs based on user-defined traits such as race and gender, generating names and unique backstories.
  • Town Generator: Designs whole towns with customizable settings, populating them with characters and shops created by other generators.
  • Shop Generator: Names and stocks shops according to the town’s economic status and shop type, dynamically adjusting inventory and pricing.

Utilizing Django and Celery for Efficient Execution

To handle the complex data processing required by these AI generators, we built the backend on Python Django, known for its robustness and scalability. Asynchronous task management was implemented using Celery, allowing for efficient background processing of AI tasks without user interface delays. This architecture ensured that Dungeon Masters could receive their game assets in seconds, not hours.
